To receive tax exemption status, SAGE must have a valid Tax Exemption Certificate on file in your account.
When placing an online order through the e-commerce site for the first time, you will be charged tax. Our system does not currently allow for filing of a Tax Exemption Certificate at the time of online purchase.
If you are tax exempt and need to request a tax refund after placing your online order, send your Tax Exemption Certificate to our accounting department at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order confirmation information and your request will be processed.
Once your valid Tax Exemption Certificate is received and added to your account, any subsequent online orders may reflect taxes at the time of purchase, however your credit card will not be charged tax when your order is completed/settled.
