A quotation, commonly referred to as a quote, is a formal document that vendors provide to their customers to propose products at a specified price. This document typically includes pertinent information such as taxes, shipping costs, discounts, and other factors that may affect the final pricing.
All customers can request a quote or a proforma, whether you are buying for yourself, require information to raise a PO, or you are a trade customer needing the information to make a tender bid. You do not need an account to request a quote.
A quote for Sage books is an informational email. Customer Services will provide prices and availability of the titles requested. Price and availability on a quote is subject to change. You do not need an account to request a quote.
A proforma for Sage books is an official document raised within our system. The price on the proforma will be honored for 3 months, the availability will still be subject to change. You need an account with Sage to request a Proforma. This account needs to be within our fulfilment system, an account on our website will not transfer to our fulfilment system unless a purchase has already been made.
