What is perpetual access?

Modified on Mon, 17 Feb at 10:08 AM

Perpetual access is the customer's right to ongoing access to online resources such as journals even beyond the cancellation of their subscription.

Some of Sage's subscription models grant perpetual access rights to customers for the years of content corresponding to the period when the customer maintained their subscription. For example, if a customer subscribed to Journal of Marketing from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2023 but did not renew their subscription for 2024, they would maintain access to articles published in all issues of Journal of Marketing in 2022 and 2023 in perpetuity beyond the subscription's end.
