Overview
Upon submission to a Sage Journal, your paper enters peer review, where “peers” evaluate the quality of your work. After this process is complete, you will receive a decision from the Journal Editor regarding your manuscript, which is informed by recommendations from Reviewers.
What does my decision mean?
Decision type | Definition |
Accept | No further revision required – manuscript publishable in its current form |
Minor Revision | Manuscript is likely to be accepted dependent on amendments |
Major Revision | Manuscript has a chance of being accepted but substantial changes are required |
Reject | Manuscript of insufficient quality/novelty/scope to warrant publication |
