When a bill payer raises an invoice for the Article Processing Charge (APC) in Sage Journals: Licensing & Payment, this includes a payment due date. Bill payers are requested to submit their payment before the payment due date to avoid any delays in publication for an article.
Once you have raised an invoice in Sage Journals: Licensing & Payment, the payment due date will be 30 days from the date that the invoice is raised. For example, if you raise an invoice on the 1st April then the payment due date will be the 30th April.
If you have raised an invoice and then require more time to arrange the funds to pay your Article Processing Charges (APC), please contact our Open Access Customer Services team at openaccess@sagepub.com. They will assess each request on an ad hoc basis to grant additional time to pay the APC.
If you have not yet raised an invoice in Sage Journals: Licensing & Payment there is not yet a due date for your APC payment. However, please be aware that you must take action in the portal before your offer expires, see When do I need to take action in Sage Journals: Licensing & Payment? for more information.
