Once you have raised an invoice in the Sage Open Access Portal, you will receive a copy of your invoice via email, or you can log on to the portal to retrieve a copy.

After raising the invoice, author or bill payer will receive an email from Sage Open Access Portal that includes the copy of raised invoice receipt for their article. This email will have 'Sage Open Access' in the subject and the invoice is available for download by clicking the Download Invoice button. 

 



After completing the payment process, the author/bill payer will receive another email notifying them that the payment has been completed, this email contains the paid invoice receipt. This email will have 'Receipt for open access payment' in the subject and the receipt is available for download by clicking the Download Invoice Receipt button.


 


APC invoice copy via the Sage Open Access Portal


If you are unable to locate this email, you can download a copy of the invoice from the Sage Open Access Portal. To do so, please follow the below instructions:


  1. To access the Sage Open Access Portal, go to openaccess.sagepub.com and log in using your registered username and password.
     
  2. This will open your dashboard. In the dashboard, you will be able to see a list of your 'Transacted articles' (completed) and 'Articles in Progress'. 
  3. Go to the 'Articles in Progress' section and locate the article you wish to obtain the invoice for. Beneath the 'Assigned Bill Payer' section, you will find an option labelled 'Download invoice here', click on this link. 
  4. After clicking on the link, a PDF copy of the invoice will download. 


Please note, Sage is unable to provide an copy of invoice if the author or bill payer is from China as the payment is made to the Agent. In order to obtain the invoice receipt, we respectfully ask the author or the bill payer to contact the Agent.
