Overview

Sage’s print and eBook data can be received via Nielsen, Bowker, BDS and PubEasy. We also provide this data to customers via the Sage Data Station.


What is the Sage Data Station?

The Sage Data Station is an FTP site that contains regularly updated bibliographic information and cover images for all Sage titles. To access our ONIX feed, daily Price & Availability files, and title cover jpegs, please visit https://ftp4.sagepub.com/login to request an account to access.


When registering for an account, you will be asked for the following details:

  • Username
  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • You will also be asked to create a passwo


Files available on the Data Station:

Daily Updated:

  • Sage Bookdata text file: full bibliographic information for all titles in print
  • Sage Price and Availability csv file: ISBN and stock quantity file of all titles in stock


Weekly Updated:

  • Sage ONIX 3.0 incremental updates file


Monthly Updated:

  • Sage ONIX 3.0 full file
  • Sage Cover image jpegs


Files can be provided in the following formats: .xlsx, .csv or .txt. This file includes the ISBN, stock level, price and discount code for all Sage titles. The standard Price & Availability file includes a full list of published titles in stock, additionally we can include Not Yet Published and Out of Stock titles if required.
