Please be aware that Sage does not offer waivers or discounts for open access publications in our Hybrid/Sage Choice journals. For more information on our Sage Choice program, see our Sage Choice FAQs.

How do I request an APC waiver/discount?

If you have not received a waiver/discount but you are unable to afford the APC, please follow the below instructions:

• Wait until your article is accepted and you receive a confirmation email from the production team confirming its successful import into the production system
• Request a discount or waiver by emailing our Open Access Customer Service at openaccess@sagepub.com.
  

Please note that discounts or waivers are not guaranteed and are subject to the author meeting the eligibility criteria.
