How can I comply with my institution's Right's Retention Strategy?

If your university has adopted the Plan S ‘Rights Retention Strategy', which enables authors to deposit a copy of the Author Accepted Manuscript (AAM) in a repository under a CC BY license upon publication, and the Version of Record is being published under the subscription model, you must sign a modified version of the Exclusive License Form, which ensures this right.

Institutions that have informed Sage of these policies will be set-up in Sage Journals: Licensing & Payment to present the adapted Exclusive License Form to authors. We will automatically identify these authors based on the affiliation selected at submission, which captures and matches this policy using their institution's Ringgold ID.
